Death Note …. has finished:(

The Death Note anime series has finally come to an end after 37 episodes 😦 It’s surely one of the best animes ever. I will definitely miss it. Here’s a tribute to the series. No spoilers here.. I think..

I like the first opening and ending themes. The songs and the music videos, their art.. is fantastic! Too bad I can’t/am too lazy to get one of my fav opening screenshots from the opening. These are all from the ending theme.

The main rivalry – Light and L

I like how the bring out the rivalry out artistically with the crimson/blue hair.

Here comes Amane Misa. Green hair! A worthwhile addition of another main character to spice things up.

L just keeps ’em guessing..

Three’s not a crowd.

A significant event happened which signals the end of the 1st arc.

And so the 2nd arc begins with new characters joining the fray. Here are some of their pics from its lyrically explicit 2nd opening theme. The 2nd ending theme is not too bad but not good enough.

Sometimes when I am feeling frustrated on the road or with some ppl or something, I just feel like flicking out a Death Note and spell doom upon them. I am the creator of a new world…. muahahahaha! ><

Whoops! Like Morticia said : blog first, world domination later. Anyway that’s all. Now the search for another worthy anime begins.. already have a few shortlisted..

I got infected by Ah Teng’s love, bordering obsession, of the Pachelbel’s Canon aka Canon in D major. I like this electric guitar version by JerryC. I know it’s old but it’s still so darn good.

You know that Habbo ad on tv? Yeah Jack also got me to play that online social game. The only problem is his aim of playing that game is to wreck havoc in the hotel.

He is -thisissparta- and his “friends” will go around blocking different pathways so other players cannot go through. When ppl scold him and his lame excuses are all used up, he will shout “THIS IS SPARTAA!!!” His account has been banned many times =.=

I watched the comedy Sideways last night; and then looked through some of my friends profiles in Friendster..

I think the movie + Friendster hit a spot.. which led me to ask myself ..

Everyone has changed. I have changed. I am not so young anymore.. and everyone else seems to be doing something great with their lives. What am I doing with mine?

That also led my thoughts to.. what do I treasure most in friends?

Last weekend was one of my craziest weekends. I had to work on both days, juggle work, church activities, friends and family. I am still tired now. Work is getting more and more interesting. Just so you know, Mr Boss has placed me in the Axon Application Management team.

What does that mean? That means I move 1 floor down from my current office. I will provide support for Axon’s clients in the UK and will work shifts. That also means I can’t carpool any more but can sleep later 🙂 The compensation is not bad though. That goes with hearing that the job there is pretty stressful. I just hope I can quickly adapt into the new environment and not make a fool out of myself in the process.

Listening to HK artiste Janice‘s “Do U Album” which Joanne sent me some time ago. The album’s not bad.. Janice’s voice is very nice and it helps me relax a bit at work. Maybe not relax too much… ZZZZzzzz 😛

The Perry Bible Fellowship has nothing to the words “Bible” and “fellowship” at all. The comic strips there are nothing short of good but can get pretty sick. 18PL!

Guys, memorize this

Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company’s Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn’t taste like alcohol at all.

He didn’t even remember how he got home from the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong.

Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose!

Jack sits up and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed.
He looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins,cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror.

Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it and a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick:”Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make you your favorite dinner tonight. I love you,darling!
Love, Jillian”

He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast,steaming hot coffee and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.

Jack asks, “Son…what happened last night?”

“Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table and broke it, and then you puked in the hallway,and got that black eye when you ran into the door.

Confused, he asked his son, “So, why is everything in such perfect order and so clean? I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me??”

His son replies, “Oh THAT!… Mom dragged you to the bedroom, and when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed, “Leave me alone, I’m married!!”

Saying the right thing, at the right time, can be priceless.
