After a long holiday, we are supposed to come back to work reenergized having sufficient rest. However it’s always the reverse that is the case.

An Inconvenient Truth – The trailer caught my attention. Looks like another effective movie to raise awareness.

Funniest Laugh Ever – It really is pretty funny! hyuk hyuk hyuk!!

Shinsen-Radio BETA – A very cool online anime radio station. I like the easy-to-use request system. Thanks to bardicknowledge for the heads-up.

Anime On Demand TV – Stream a wide seleciton of anime for FREE. This is absolutely insane. Downside? Our average Streamyx home connection can’t handle this. But our office can… – Another source of anime OSTs.

Pizza Party(geek) – A command line program for ordering pizza. No way!!!

I am hooked to Klang’s Hock Bee Hiong dried meat. It’s by far the best dried meat I’ve had these couple of years. Yummy! Try to get some if you can. Just ask any Klang person who should know Hock Bee Hiong. Why are so many nice things in Klang? So far!! Going there this weekend for seafood 🙂

Listening to.. The Very Best of Sheryl Crow

Some people are paid big money to make big decisions. Average people hate making decisions. They don’t like to carry responsibilities. Rather they don’t want to bear the consequences which accompanies a bad decision. Whereelse some people are just plain indecisive. But that’s another story altogether.

Maybe I’ve become scared of making decisions. Taking risks. Taking responsibility. I am not the carefree guy I once was. I am not used to handling the amount of responsibilities with the commitments I made. It has even trickled to making small decisions. But I guess you can say that’s part of growing up. Now let me handle this one step at a time.

Fat or not? You decide. I say he is dangerously fat.

Rocky Balboa was good entertainment for me. Not too much drama, not too many flashbacks, not too much gore. That’s just enough of each to entertain me. That’s enough. Good show.

Now I realize it’s not just the rushing that caused the accident. A lot of it was from frustration. Frustration over things beyond my control (disputable). It’s a fine line between being too “passionate” about something and too “cold-blooded”. I can’t find the right words for them.

Tonight I was frustrated with my mom. Actually it’s more with myself. I can’t even write properly. It’s only a letter. My signature is always screwed up too. That’s why I prefer to type.

I guess I have to accept the facts. Jason will always be a snail (I can’t decide if the tortoise is slower), my mom’s tongue will always be piercing, and I will always drive dangerously when you piss me off. The end. Now go get me a sponge car before I kill someone.

Ghostrider is your typical comic superhero movie with a cool factor of 10. Met Fookie and Alvin Ong after movie whom joined us for lunch. Nice to see some old faces.

I am not one who is fond of change. That’s why when I am not comfortable when presented with new environments / situations / activities. I need some time to (reluctantly) mentally prepare or rather brace myself for change.

That makes me not a fan of surprises. Life is full of suprises, no?

Took a walk around the Titiwangsa lake today. We then went for a ride on the Eye On Malaysia. We started queuing at 7.45pm and had to wait in line for an hour. The ride lasted 15-20 minutes. When we came down, it was just past 9pm and the queue was like double the length of the line when we queued. Good luck to them.

Just finished reading The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. It’s an endearing tale about an autistic child from a first person’s perspective. Vulgar at times, the book never never fails to capture the harsh realities of life. A book well worth a read.

Trapping balls.

Yesterday I went bowling for the first time in my life. It wasn’t as embarrassing as I expected, though I was pretty bad. Oh well! All in good fun, I guess. Then Andrew Tan called me at 3.50pm for 4pm futsal.

It was nice to keep some momentum going for my game, besides burning all the amassed calories during CNY. There are still so many aspects of my play to improve! I know I am good, but just good. I am not very good, and a long way off from being great. I think I know what is missing. There’s so much work to be done!

I was reading about the Bulgarian capital of Sofia, and it looks like a very interesting place to visit. It’s full of fascinating history as the one of the oldest capitals of Europe. The city’s magnificent architecture is a mark of its great history which spanned many centuries. Pretty nice name for a city too.

My music, check their songs out (available upon request) if you’ve got a minute or two :

  • Nerina Pallot – cool new discovery! | “we are geeks but we know this is love..”
  • Tamia – rewind back to some great R&B | “I’m officially missing you..”

This week’s BBC Quotes Of The Week was excellent. Lots of Arsenal jokes 😆

Barcelona 1 – Liverpool 2

Barcelona were crap. Liverpool were also crap. But it was still an entertaining match in a funny way. Since the Lille-ManUtd incident, any free kick in range of goal had the referee pointing furiously to his whistle! Haha! The standard of officiating was consistently poor in this game too. You’d think the referee needs to change his job to officiate lawn-bowling. There’s no contact between the players, the action is slower and he can then stand nearer to the field to have a clue to what’s happening.
